Join us for the final broadcast of Record Talk Radio in 2012 on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. when our guest will be Lt. Dwane Razzetti of the Bergen County Police Department.

Razzetti will be retiring after serving as coordinator of the Office of Emergency Services in Bergen County and working a total of 26 years in law enforcement.

We’ll talk about his experiences in overseeing the county’s response to Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Irene and other disasters over the last two decades.

Razzetti started as a police officer in River Edge in August 1986 and joined the County Police as a traffic officer in January 1988.

During his time as a county officer, he has served as a motorcycle unit supervisor, a crisis negotiator and commander of the bomb squad. He has been the emergency management coordinator since June 2009.

Razzetti has a masters in social work and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers University in Newark. He has also served as a part-time instructor at Rutgers and Bergen Community College.

If you have question for Razzetti, email it to me at ensslin@northjersey.com.
